… singing for fun and charity
Director Tina Hewitt
Tina took over directorship of the choir from Marjorie Rogers in September, 2017. She was involved with music from an early age, as a widely-travelled professional entertainer, performing with her family in a harmony show band and also involved with a youth orchestra. She has sung in various choirs and is an accomplished pianist.
Choir voices are soprano, alto, tenor and bass
We are particularly keen to recruit new members, particularly men (tenors and basses). There are no auditions; the only qualification is that you enjoy singing. If you are interested, please contact us.

Video recording The semi-chorus performing “The Lark in the Clear Air”
This recording was compiled during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown in July 2020. Each of the eight contributing singers submitted separate audio and video recordings which were then synchronised.
